About the Event
Jazz Appreciation Month is an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate and honor one of America's earliest and most iconic art forms - jazz. This year, we will also be paying tribute to the Blues, adding an extra layer of soulful melodies to our concert.
Producers Doc Jones and Aubrey Morris have something extraordinary planned for all music enthusiasts. We will showcase a fantastic blues artist, Max Tovstyi, who recently escaped war-torn Ukraine just one year ago. Max's soulful performances and incredible talent will take you on a musical journey.
However, this year's JAM celebration holds a deeper purpose. We aim to draw attention towards a pressing issue in our great city of Tempe - affordable housing. With our initiative called "Jazz Town USA," we are determined to address the need for affordable workspace houses for musicians .
