About the Event
Come enjoy lunch, the outdoors, and great music at this to tribute to jazz artists who served in the military. The Phoenix Country Day Jazz Band, South Mountain Community College Jazz Band, and jazz vocalist and Navy veteran Steve Powell will perform memorial tributes to American jazz saxophonist John Coltrane, jazz clarinetist and bandleader Benny Goodman, and other legendary jazz artists who served their country.
